My appointment at Lakewood Ranch oral and facial went well until they walked in and handed me a $1,595 bill to remove a cyst on my lower lip which when I call for the appointment they said they accepted my insurance I explained I'm having a problem with multiple surgeons because of the insurance it's a medical procedure not a dental procedure and they wanted to charge me $6 or $700 for a deductible they thought that was unusual they said my insurance would cover the visit for the consultation but it would cost me $86 for Imaging I paid the $86 was seen by the oral surgeon and then when they came in with the 1595 Bill I said this isn't right I'm going to go back and speak to my doctor so the next day I called and said I paid $86 for Imaging that was never done they put me on hold for almost 20 minutes in a very polite lady answer the phone and said you did have Imaging done the doctor had pulled my lip back and taken a photo with his iPhone that's what they consider Imaging for $86

Austin is an excellent oral surgeon. Very professional staff and a very pleasant environment when having a difficult procedure. Very little pain and swelling after the procedure. I would highly recommend this practice to everyone. Plus he's local and don't have to travel far to receive excellent service.
